Take the boat to the Verkehrshaus
For over 60 years the Swiss Museum of Transport has been one the premier visitor attractions in Lucerne and remains the largest and most popular museum in Switzerland to this day. Best of all, you can easily reach this landmark attraction by boat on a scenic 10-minute cruise across the Bay of Lucerne, with fabulous views of the city skyline, historic ramparts and of course majestic Mount Pilatus. At the Verkehrshaus, fascinating outdoor and indoor exhibits with historic boats, trains, planes and cars await. Contemporary attractions like the Swiss Chocolate Adventure, Media World, IMAX theater and Hans Erni art collection make the visitor experience at the Verkehrshaus even more multi-dimensional.
