Due to the SwissCityMarathon, the Verkehrshaus-Lido landing stage will not be served between 7:00 - 16:30 h by scheduled boats on Sunday, 25 October 2026. Passengers travelling from Lucerne to Verkehrshaus-Lido can use the free shuttle boats departing from Pier 5.

• Passengers travelling from Verkehrshaus-Lido towards Weggis, Vitznau or Flüelen should travel via Lucerne and board at Pier 2.
• The Brunch Cruise will depart from Pier 6 on this day.
• Road traffic in and around the city of Lucerne will be heavily affected on Sunday, 25 October 2026 due to the SwissCityMarathon. Several bus routes in the city centre will operate on adjusted schedules and are expected to resume their regular timetable from approximately 3:30 p.m. The exact time at which road closures are lifted will be determined by the police. Subject to change.

During the construction phase for the new central platforms at Bahnhofplatz in Lucerne, restrictions and changed stopping points for VBL buses are to be expected from 18 May 2026 to 12 December 2026. Access from Lucerne railway station to the departure piers for the ships will remain available. Please check the VBL bus timetable before your outward and return journey. Further information
