Current operating reports

The water level of Lake Lucerne is currently very low. This is due to the low level of precipitation during the winter months so far and the many foehn days, which bring little or no meltwater into the lake.

At present, the water level is only 1–2 cm above the minimum low level. In order to avoid damage to the propellers of our vessels, the Verkehrshaus-Lido stop will be closed and not served for scheduled services as well as in emergencies from Saturday, 7 February 2026 until further notice.

The Weggis ship station will be renovated from Monday, 5 January to Wednesday, 11 February 2026. During this period, SGV vessels will neither call at nor depart from the station. A bus shuttle service between Weggis and Hertenstein will ensure guest transport during the construction work.
