Accessibility of our boats
Barrier-free travel on Lake Lucerne
We want to make travelling on Lake Lucerne as pleasant and straightforward as possible for as many guests as we can. As part of the OK:GO initiative, we therefore provide transparent information about the accessibility of our boats.

With the exception of the small electric motor vessel Rütli, all steamboats and motor vessels are wheelchair accessible. The main decks and the 2nd class restaurants are accessible at ground level. On our historic steamboats, the 1st class salon on the main deck is also barrier-free.
On the motor vessel Diamant, the 1st class area on the upper deck can additionally be reached by lift. The 1st class areas on the motor vessels Cirrus and Bürgenstock are also accessible for wheelchair users. All boats – with the exception of the electric motor vessel Rütli – are equipped with an accessible WC.
Detailed accessibility information for each individual boat, including details within the framework of the OK:GO initiative, can be found on the respective boat pages.
